Scale Model Stash Return Policy
- You have 30 days from the date of purchase (or delivery) to return eligible items.
- Proof of purchase (original receipt or order number) is required for all returns.
2. Condition Requirements
To qualify for a refund or exchange, items must be:
- New, unused, and unopened.
- In their original manufacturer packaging with all seals, shrink-wrap, and parts intact.
- Free of any signs of assembly, painting, modification, or wear.
3. Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Opened scale model kits, miniature sprues (cut or removed from frames), or card/board games with unsealed components.
- Electronics, batteries, LiPo batteries, and RC fuel (due to safety and usage variables).
- Special-order items, custom-cut materials, or clearance/final sale merchandise.
- Gift cards.
4. Defective Merchandise & Manufacturer Warranties
- If an item is missing parts out-of-the-box or is proven defective upon first inspection, contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
- For internal electronic defects or issues discovered after opening/use, items are typically subject to manufacturer warranty processing rather than in-store cash/card refunds. We are happy to help you coordinate with the manufacturer.
5. Refunds & Store Credit
- Approved returns are issued back to the original payment method or as store credit (your choice).
- Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs (if returning via mail).
- A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to open-box or high-labor items.
